Pulse diagnosis method in siddha
Great siddhas like Tirumoolar,Agastyar etc have upheld the importance of Nadi diagonosis.According to Tirumoolar ,there are 72,000 nadies in our body.It is to be noted that the rate of pulse changes from male to female and go along with the concept of tridoshas find the explanation of pulse in the laughutrayees also.The pulsations felt on the index finger,middle finger and ring finger correspond respectively with vatha,pitha and kapha factors.In vatha nadi ,there is rapid heart rate,and rhytham is regular.The pulse movement resembles the movement snake.It is commonly seen in mitral stenosis.In pitha nadi the cardiac output is increased,there is moderate rise in percusion wave.Pulse movement resembles the movement of frog and is commonly seen in Aortic incompetence.In kapha nadi the cardiac ovput is decreased with slow heart rate the pulse movements resembles the movement of swan and is commonly seen in Aortic stenosis.Based on pulse reading alone,many of the diseases can be properly diagnosed.

Visha kallu-Miracle absorbent of snake venom from human body( Treatment of Malavedan tribes of kerala)
Visha kallu is a medicated stone have a power to absorb snake venom from human body.
Ingredients
1.Pebbles from the river 50gm
2.Juice of Ocimum tenuiflorum,Anisomales malabarica,Leucas aspera,Pipper bettle -20ml each and paste of Santhanum album-50gm approximately.
Method of preperation
The pebbles ground well and mixed with the said ingredients and prepered in the form of paste .The paste covered with seven leaves of Aristolochia tagala. and placed on a rock and roasted using the woöd of Chukrasia tubularis,Santalum album,Ocimum tenuiiforum and Camphor.The roasted material again paste of termite soil and soil content obtained from the trees.The above materials are again covered with the leaves of Aristolochia tagala and Aristolochia indica and then kept under a low fire.The dried mass kept in the ashes of cow dung cakes or dried leaves of cannabis sativa to maintain potency of the stone

Siddhar's science of Breathing or Siddhar's science of longivity
Siddhar's science tells that a man generally takes 15 breaths in a minute and this makes 21,600 breaths a day;and at this rate ,he can live for a period of at least 120 years,taking into consideration the fundamental principle on which respitration is based ie The force of energy lost in every exhalation operating to a length of space extending to 12 inches is regained by inhalation only a partial extent;because the operation in this case extends only to 8 inches,thus losing every time force for supplaying the difference of 12-8 inches and consequently as much force.In eating the breath forced out extends to 18 inches,in walking to 24 inches,in running 42 inches,in cohabiting 50inches ,in sleeping 60 inches.It is for the purpose of saving losses by indulging in the action mentioned,that Yogis take up a silent posture and supress their breath in such a way and and to such an extend that they are able to live for a number of years as dersired by them without disease or death devoting their life all time for the good of mankind(Samadhi).Such a kind of spiritual breathing is sure to develop spiritual powers of consiousness.

4.Bring the casualty's other arm across their chest ,placining the back of their hand against the cheek which is near to you and holding it there
5.With your other hand grasp the leg which further from you at the thigh,pulling the casualty's knee up with their foot flat on the ground
6.Still with your hand keeping the back of their hand against their cheek,gently press down on the lower thigh with your other hand ,thus rolling the causalty towards you,on their side.
7.Again ensure the airway is open by tilting the casualty 's head back.
8.If necessary adjust the uppermost leg so that the hip and knee are to bend at right angles for stability.
9.Call ambulance

PURIFICATION OF IRON IN SIDDHA
About 210 gm of flower juice of Maduca longifolia is added to 35 gm of iron powder and kept in sunlight from morning to evening for 6 days. Then this preperation is dried in sunlight for 2 days without adding the juice and this process is repeated twice.From 25th day onwards it is kept in sunlight for 10 days adding juice daily.it is then dried for 2 more days with out adding the juice.The iron thus purified.

Try to keep your meals on regular shedule.
Eat slowly .Chew it thoroughly,remebering digestion start in the mouth.

It will over stimulate body and mind,cause mental stress and nervous disorders.The food that are hot,dry,burning,sour are Rajasic.
SATVIC FOOD
The foods which increase Purity,Joy,Health are satvic. It maintain mental and nervous equlibrium through out the life.Fruits,Vegetables,lightly cooked vegetables,herbal tea,salades,honey,milk,butter,grains,fresh herbs,legumes,nuts.It is easily digested and supplies maximum energy.
