Dear siddha doctor, i know Danvandari and yaccob are siddhars. Siddhar Danvandari's medicines or ideas are named as Ayurvedha by saraka and susruthar. But how do you claim that yaccob is the founder of Unani medicine. (This may be true). can you give some details.
There are so many literary evidences for the traveling of Ramadevar siddhar to Macca .Then he changed his name yacob.Unani medicine preperations are more similar to siddha.You see the preperation methods of Arkh,hab,Halva,Khameera
After Mohamed Nabi's (Islam founder)death, few century later, Islam was introduced to India. Sunsequently Ramadevar went ot Mecca and became Yaccob. It is fine. But, Before Mohamaed Nabi born, there were some traditional Medicine practiced in that country, it was Unani. May be that time, siddhars in all over the world might had a link to establish such medical systems.
Later as you told Yacob really contributed more to Unani system. Basically Siddha is a mother science for all other science. But lack of histotical studies about Siddhars lead to no proper history for siddha science.
