Siddha Medicine Proves effective on COVID-19 @ Andhra Pradesh:Siddha Clinical Research Unit-Tirupati, CCRS in collaboration with Sri Venkateswara Ramnarayan Ruia Government General Hospital, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh, treated asymptomatic COVID-19 cases with Siddha and Modern medicine in Integration at the District COVID Care Center (DCCC), Padmavathi Nilayam, Tirupati since 21st May 2020.In this trial, a total of18 cases comprising all age groups and both sex (Male -11, Female-5, Male Child-2) were included and issued KSK for twice a day along with HCQ-bid and Vit-C tab-Tds. Yakkai Ilakkanam (YI Tool - https://www.siddhayitool.com/index.php) and Duration of Hospital Stay were used as measurable outcomes. Twenty days of observations on the trial, 7 Vali Udal cases , 7 Azhal Udal cases and 5 Aiya Udal cases were noted. And Duration of Halt reduced to a minimum 2 days to maximum 11 days. There was a significant effect of KSK observed with the Integration of Modern Medicine on COVID -19 Patients from the outcome measures.
