⭐SIDDHA DRUG, RASAGANDHI MEZHUGU FOR HPV ASSOCIATED CERVICAL CANCERCervical cancer is the fourth most common cancer in women and 70% of all the cervical cancers are associated with the human papilloma virus infection (HPVs 16 and 18). Rasagandhi Mezhugu (RGM), a polyherbomineral Siddha formulation containing 38 different plant products and 8 inorganic metallo-minerals is used in Siddha system of Medicine for Cancer Management and Palliative care. RGM is highly efficient in inducing death of HPV positive cervical cancer cells. (Anvarbatcha Riyasdeen et al). Chloroform extract of RGM causes apoptosis of Cervical Cancer cell lines (SiHA and ME-180) producing the effect in very low doses; (IC50 concentration at 24hr and 48hr treatment), thereby infers scientific evidence on the use of RGM for Cancers.
